Skiritida Forest is situated in the regional unit of Arcadia, in the southeastern part of the Peloponnese peninsula. It covers an area of approximately 5,000 hectares. Skiritida Forest is home to a diverse array of plant and animal species, including indigenous trees such as Greek fir, black pine, and oak.

Skiritida Forest offers ample opportunities for outdoor recreation and exploration, including hiking, mountain biking, and bird watching.
Several well-marked trails wind through the forest, leading visitors through its tranquil landscapes and providing stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Hiking: The hiking path begins from Vlachokerasia,and it is made with the view that the visitor will enjoy the marvelous landscape. The hiker will go through thick vegetation, see old watermills and walk over rivers which constitute the streams of Evrotas river.The route has frequent landscape variations and small waterfalls create an enchanting place.
